Hand symphony is an interactive educational installation which aims to teach music and encourage teamwork among users. It utilizes a single screen projection and an Xbox 360 Kinect to dictate multiple user interactions and generate an interesting result. Players are able to move their bodies according to the circle “notes” on screen. As the note appears, the player moves their hand higher or lower, creating a correlation with the note. If both players successfully trigger their notes, the sounds mesh together to play back a familiar melody (Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Do You Know The Muffin Man, Aura Lee, Mary Had A Little Lamb, When The Saints Go Marching In).
